On Friday at 5:09 a.m. a dense fog advisory was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until 8 a.m. for Limestone, Madison, Morgan, Marshall, Jackson, DeKalb and Cullman counties.

The weather service states to expect, “Visibility as low as a quarter mile in dense fog.”
