Will Alabama have nation’s best receiving corps in 2025?
Alabama football’s receiving corps might not only be the best group on the roster in 2025 but also the nation’s best.
It’s that stacked. It features talented returners and newcomers. Can it be the best group of receivers in the country?
“No doubt,” veteran Germie Bernard said. “Most definitely. We’ve got all the attributes in the room. Everybody can do everything.”
Alabama brought back starters Ryan Williams and Bernard. It added Isaiah Horton from Miami. The Crimson Tide also has intriguing returning pieces such as Rico Scott, Jaylen Mbakwe, Jalen Hale and Cole Adams.
Then, Alabama landed a few freshman as well, including Lotzeir Brooks and Derek Meadows.
“Young guys, we’ve got some ballers man,” Bernard said. “We really do.”
It’s not yet certain who will be throwing to these receivers this season, but it looks like whoever starts at quarterback will have plenty of talent with which to work.
“We’ve got a lot of speed,” Bernard said. “We’ve got a lot of strength. We’ve got guys who can block. We’ve got guys who can make contested catches. We’ve got guys who are tough. We’ve got guys that get open.”
Alabama will hold its A-Day event on Saturday. It will be more like a practice than a game like in years past.
