Fisher-Price baby toy recalled due to possible choking hazard
Fisher-Price today recalled over 250,000 Brunch & Go Stroller Toys due to a possible choking hazard, according to a release from the company.
The toy features a pretend avocado toast and three attachments: a mirror tomato, a crinkle bacon and an egg teether.
Fisher-Price has received five reports of the yolk piece breaking into smaller pieces, the release says.
Twice a baby was reported to have a piece of the broken toy in their mouth, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission notice.
The notice advised consumers to stop using the recalled toy immediately and contact Fisher-Price to receive a free replacement stroller toy.
Fisher-Price is asking consumers to permanently mark the egg component of the stroller toy with the word, “Recall,” upload a photo of the marked toy to the Mattel website and then throw it in the trash.
The company said it is contacting all known purchasers directly.
