The 6-foot-6 freshman guard also had seven rebounds, three steals and two assists for the Bucks (21-7).

Fred Derrick added 14 points, with three 3-pointers, three steals and two assists. Jeremiah Wilson had eight points and five rebounds.

“We got off to a good start,” Buckhorn coach Patrick Harding said. “We were able to get some stops and get out and run and make some easy baskets early. Mae Jemison is young, and they played hard the whole game.”

Buckhorn will play Lee for the area championship Friday night.
