Country music star walks off SNL stage, posts cryptic message

Morgan Wallen made quite the exit from “Saturday Night Live” over the weekend when he walked off the stage prior to the end of the show.

The 31-year-old country music star appeared as the musical guest, alongside host Mikey Madison.

who won best actress for her role in Anora at the 2025 Oscars.

Wallen performed a couple of songs from his newest album, “I’m the Problem.” He joined the “SNL” cast at the end of the show. He whispered something to Madison, then walked off the stage.

Wallen then took to social media after the show to post “Get me to God’s country” to his Instagram story.

Wallen’s appearance on Saturday’s SNL marked his second ever on the show.

TMZ reports, citing a source, that Wallen – a Tennessee native – he meant nothing by the posted comment, and had routinely exited the studio the same way he had during rehearsal when he thought it was time to go.
