Alabama fast food chain has a new side, but it’s only up for grabs at 1 location

There’s a new side dish being served up at Milo’s Hamburgers, and it may have your loyalty to those perfectly-seasoned crinkle fries wavering.

Milo’s recently announced that it will be adding house-made chips to its menu this year, but before you get too excited, you’ll only be able to order them at the Cahaba Heights location of the Alabama chain, according to Southern Living.

Milo’s Marketing Director Mary Duncan Proctor told Southern Living the chips, which will also be available on the restaurant’s catering menu, are “a wavy chip—similar to the crinkle cut fry—seasoned with our famous fry salt,” and said they were one of several items that will be offered at the Cahaba Heights “test kitchen.”

Proctor said the chips, and future new items, would be offered at the location for four to six weeks as a way to gauge customer interest and see whether they should be offered at additional restaurants. Grilled chicken tenders, which are now up for grabs at all Milo’s locations, were the first item to be tested this way, and strawberry lemonade is the next following the house-made chips.
