What do Huntsville, Stevie Nicks, Snoop Dogg, pickles have in common?
During Orion Amphitheater’s first three years, headliners included the likes of Stevie Nicks, Robert Plant, Snoop Dogg, Jack White and Neil Young. In year four, Orion’s bringing in something arguably more beloved than any those music legends: pickles.
The inaugural Rocket City Pickle Fest is set for June 29. Orion’s website promises attendees will “have the brine of your lives.” That involves “live music, pickle-inspired eats and drinks, games, local vendors.” Pickle Fest tickets are $25 with children 12 and under admitted free. The event runs 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. More info at theorionhuntsville.com.
In addition to concerts, which in 2025 include acts like Willie Nelson, Melissa Etheridge Counting Crows and Master P, each year Orion hosts dozens of other events. For example, there’s Immersive Yoga on April 7, Pup Palooza on April 13 and Huntsville Content Creators Meetup on April 23 and Spin & Skate Teen Jam on May 3.
