Auburn men’s basketball’s Sweet Sixteen matchup is set.

The Tigers will play the No. 5 seed Michigan Wolverines Friday night at 8:39 p.m. The matchup will be televised on CBS, followed by the other south regional game between Michigan State and Ole Miss which is set to tipoff at 6:09. Both games will be played at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

Auburn is making its first Sweet Sixteen appearance since 2019, beating Alabama State and Creighton to get there. Michigan is in the second weekend for the first time since 2022, beating UC San Diego and Texas A&M in the first two rounds.

It will also be a reunion of sorts for Michigan guard Tre Donaldson. He played his first two college seasons at Auburn, before transferring prior to the 2024-2025 campaign.
