Hallmark launches new renovation show ‘Home Is Where the Heart Is’, here’s where to stream free

The brand new renovation series Home Is Where the Heart Is premieres on Hallmark+ Thursday, March 20.

Hosted by a Hallmark fan-favorite alum Luke Macfarlane, Home Is Where the Heart Is takes audiences on a sentimental ride as inherited and familial homes are given a facelift. With aid from designer Olivia Westbrooks, Macfarlane—a skilled carpenter on the side—the homes are updated while still maintaining its original integrity.

Each episode follows Macfarlane, Westbrooks and the talented team they’ve assembled as they help families renovate family homes, but the team’s first priority is preserving the emotional elements and memories the families have with their homes.

Two episodes are now available for streaming on Hallmark+ with season one featuring six episodes. In the first episode titled “Empty Nesting,” an empty nester tasks the crew with helping her reimagine her childhood home, built by her late father, to reflect an exciting new chapter in her life, while preserving the loving backdrop of family history.

In episode two titled “Sister Act,” two sisters return to their childhood home and are determined to give it an encore. What was once a place to grow is now a canvas for new memories, rooted in love and nostalgia.
