Super Bowl champs, NFL GMs, Tide stars and others we spotted at Alabama Pro Day

The Alabama football pro day always brings a crowd every year. Such is the nature of the level of NFL talent that has emerged from Tuscaloosa under Nick Saban and now Kalen DeBoer.

This year’s event, which occurred Wednesday, also fielded plenty of visitors. It’s impossible to account for them all, but here are the people we noticed in the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility as several Alabama players worked out ahead of the NFL Draft.

They saw the likes of Jalen Milroe, Tyler Booker, CJ Dippre, Robbie Ouztz, Tim Smith and the specialists go through drills and workout.

Attendees we spotted at Alabama pro day

  • Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin was the most notable person who made the trip. He frequents the pro day circuit, maybe more than any other NFL head coach.
  • The Steelers had plenty of representation. Among those in town: general manager Omar Khan and defensive coordinator Teryl Austin, plus a few others who sported the black-and-gold.
  • One other Steeler in attendance: Ike Taylor. The former cornerback who won Super Bowls with the Steelers watched the pro day. His son, Ivan Taylor, is a freshman defensive back for the Crimson Tide. The younger Taylor at one point made an appearance and watched some drills with his father.
  • Nicole Lynn, the president of football operations for Klutch Sports, showed up, too. She’s one of the most notable agents in the NFL, and she has repped former Alabama players, most notably Jalen Hurts.
  • Here are all the reps we spotted from NFL teams. This is not an exhaustive list. Just some of the teams who had at least one person in attendance: Steelers, Falcons, Dolphins, Raiders, Saints, Colts, Commanders, Cowboys, Bears, Cardinals, Packers, Bills, Jets, Vikings, Patriots, Texans, Panthers.
  • Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer made an appearance during the pro day. He was among many Alabama players, coaches and staffers who stopped by. Others we noticed: general manager Courtney Morgan, defensive coordinator Kane Wommack, quarterbacks Ty Simpson and Austin Mack, and many more.
