A Dutton man has been charged with the sexual abuse of a child.

Daniel Gomez is charged with four counts of sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12, four counts of second-degree sexual abuse, second-degree attempted sexual abuse, attempted sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12 and enticing a child for immoral purposes and indecent exposure, according to court documents.

Gomez was arrested March 12 by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and is being held at the Jackson County Jail. His bond was set at $193,000.
