Teen charged in 3 armed robberies at Montgomery gas stations

A teen has been charged in three Montgomery gas station holdups, in one of which he fired a gun inside the business.

Perrion Jerimairya Savage, 18, is charged with three counts of first-degree robbery, said police Lt. David Wise.

Savage was taken into custody Tuesday by U.S. Marshals and remains held without bond in the Montgomery County Detention Facility.

The first robbery happened at 4:22 p.m. Jan. 28 at the Marathon stations on Perry Street.

Authorities said Savage took $450 at gunpoint.

The other two holdups happened in the predawn hours of Jan. 30.

Savage, police said, entered the Chevron on Jackson Ferry Road at 1:22 a.m. and fled after taken $1,000.

One hour later, at 2:21 a.m., police said Savage robbed the Chevron on Zelda Road.

He is accused of firing a gun inside the store before leave with $876.
