North Carolina-based Italian restaurant opening first Alabama location this week
A North Carolina-based Italian restaurant is opening its first Alabama location Wednesday.
Osteria LuCa will hold its grand opening at Stovehouse in Huntsville on Wednesday.
The grand opening celebration will begin at 10:30 a.m. at 3414 Governors Dr. S.W., Suite 705. Osteria LuCa will offer daily lunch and dinner service.
Operating hours will be Sunday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The menu features signature dishes like the wood-fired Margherita pizza, alongside the hot honey and meatball and bacon and clam pizzas. Appetizers include crispy calamari and creamy whipped ricotta, and entrees feature pan-seared salmon, the double pork chop and chicken parmigiana.
The bar offers a selection of Italian wines and signature drinks like the Tiramisu Espresso Martini and Hugo Spritz. Alabama brews including Yellow Hammer Brewing’s ‘T-Minus Tangerine Kolsh’ and Main Channel Brewing’s ‘Amber Ale’ will also be available.
The restaurant has 74 seats in the main dining area, 32 at the bar, nine at the interactive pizza bar, and 36 on the covered patio.
