AHSAA soccer coaches poll: Shakeups atop 6 of the Top 10 rankings

Six of the 10 top-ranked teams in Week 4 of the Alabama High School Athletic Association soccer coaches poll are different from a week ago. Only Class 7A Oak Mountain and Class 1A/3A Collinsville held onto their No. 1 status on the boys’ side. Class 6A Mountain Brook and 4A Montgomery Catholic remained atop their Top 10 for the girls.

The boys’ newcomers are Chelsea in place of Homewood in 6A, Indian Springs replaced Guntersville in 5A and Trinity took No. 1 from Orange Beach in 4A. Oak Mountain took over Auburn in the 7A girls poll, Westminster Christian moved into the top spot in Class 5A as Springville dropped to second and Donoho swapped places with Houston Academy in 1A/3A.
