A new episode of Extracted will premiere on FOX Monday, Feb. 24 at 8/7c.

On this week’s episode of the survival-based reality competition, contestants will continue to battle the elements as they attempt to track down much-needed sustenance. The kicker? The map each contestant is using as their guide is drawn by their loved ones.

Basic cable isn’t needed to catch the new high-stakes series, those interested can still catch Extracted on Fubo or DirecTV Stream—both of which offer free trials. Sling also offers the ability to stream the series, but no free trial is currently available.

What is Fubo?

Fubo is much like any other streaming service, but instead of simply offering on-demand streaming, it offers a plethora of live TV channels such as ESPN, ABC, NBC, CBS, TLC, MTV and more.

Fubo considers itself a sports-focused live streaming service but also offers over 100 live TV channels through its basic package at just $84.99 a month following its free trial.

Users can stream a variety of shows and movies on-demand and even have the option to record favorite shows.

What is DirecTV Stream?

DirecTV Stream is similar to Fubo in that it offers most of the same channels and features. Its base package, also referred to as the Entertainment package, starts at just $86.99 a month after the free trial. Channels included in the base package include HGTV, ESPN, CNN, BET, Bravo, CMT, CNBC and more.

What is Sling?

Sling is another great basic cable alternative. Though no free trial is available to new subscribers, those interested in committing to a plan get half off the first month with any Sling plan.

Both the Orange plan and the Blue plan are normally $45.99 a month, but with the ongoing promotion, start streaming with Sling for just $23 and access channels like Freeform, ESPN, Bravo, MSNBC, USA and more.

What is Extracted about?

Extracted is a survivalist reality series that follows 12 competitors as they attempt to survive grueling elements without any training whatsoever. Though they’re facing treacherous terrain and terrifying predators in the wilderness, their supportive family members are locked away in a secluded headquarters just miles away.

While the contestants are busy surviving as best they can, their families are watching through a live-feed 24/7. Leaving the show is not up to the survivalists themselves, and the families are not there just to watch their loved ones. As the families watch their loved ones attempt to rough it out, they must also decide when and if to extract them.

The last survivalist left standing is set to win $250,000. The stakes are high, but the risks just might be higher.

Where was the first season of Extracted filmed?

The debut season of Extracted was filmed in the harsh wilderness of Whistler, British Columbia. Whistler is situated in Canada’s Coast Mountains and showcases unbelievable landscapes, alpine lakes and rugged terrain—which makes for a difficult journey for the Extracted contestants.
