A Huntsville man has been charged with capital murder following the deaths of his grandparents.

Madison County jail records show that Xavier Laharris Cole, 21, was booked early Saturday morning on charges of capital murder involving two or more victims. He is held without bail.

According to multiple news reports, Huntsville police said that they went to Carriage Court about 10:30 p.m. Friday and found Cole outside a home in the 12000 block. According to police, Cole told them he had killed his grandparents in the home, WHNT reported.

Antoinette Skaggs, 67, and Kenneth Skaggs, 69, were found dead inside, police said.
