Alabama woman’s chin partially bitten off during domestic dispute, police say

An Alabama woman is in the hospital after police say a portion of her chin was bitten off during a domestic dispute.

Rainbow City police officers were dispatched at 1:50 a.m. Sunday to a 911 open line call on a possible domestic disturbance happening in the 1400 block of Sutton Bridge Road.

Lt. Jordan McCartney said officers were able to locate the caller and began to investigate.

Police found the woman with the facial injuries. She was taken to the hospital.

Zeky Favius, 34, was taken into custody aqt the scene and charged with second-degree domestic violence, which is a felony.

Favius was released from the Etowah County Jail Tuesday.
