Wenonah’s Brendon Davis could not miss on his way to a game-high scoring performance and three other players scored in double figures as the fifth-ranked Dragons cruised to a 92-56 victory over Jacksonville in Friday’s Class 5A Northeast Regional semifinal at Jacksonville State’s Pete Mathews Coliseum.

Wenonah (25-8) shot out to an 11-7 lead midway through the first period but found itself trailing by a possession with 2:09 left in the quarter, following a 6-0 run by the Golden Eagles that was sparked on a 3-pointer by Aaron Nixon.
