It will likely be mid or late 2027 before Huntsville residents see construction of the pedestrian-suspension “Skybridge” over the Memorial Parkway-Governors Drive corridor.

“We are anticipating a short window of constructing it,” City Engineer Kathy Martin told the Downtown Redevelopment Board Wednesday night.
