Man killed in Sunday morning Montgomery shooting

An investigation is underway into the fatal shooting of a 26-year-old man in Montgomery.

Montgomery police on Tuesday identified the victim as Isaiah Baker. He lived in Montgomery.

Sgt. Tina McGriff said police and fire medics were dispatched at 1:38 a.m. Sunday to the 2200 block of East South Boulevard. Baker was pronounced dead on the scene.

No additional details have been released.

Baker is one of two people killed in Montgomery over the weekend. On Saturday night, a 17-year-old boy was killed and a man wounded in a shooting in the 1200 block of Eastern Boulevard.

No arrests have been announced in either crime.
