Deshaun Labraunt Lewis, 18, has been identified as the victim of a fatal shooting this weekend at a Decatur restaurant, according to a release from the police department.

Around 12:12 a.m. on Saturday, officers arrived at Nash BBQ at 104 12th Avenue Northwest to investigate reports of a shooting, according to a previous release from the department.

Upon arrival, officers located a male, Lewis, suffering from gunshot wounds.

The teen was transported to the hospital where he later died.

Police believe that this is an isolated incident, but the investigation is ongoing at this time, according to today’s release.
