Mobile police lieutenant resigns from department while under investigation
A high ranking Mobile police officer has resigned from the department several months after he became the subject of an internal investigation.
According to the Mobile Police Department, Lt. Sean Fisher made the decision to resign. Fisher was placed on administrative leave in October as the department conducted their investigation into him.
AL.com asked if the department concluded its investigation and would disclose the results.
A department spokesperson offered the following response:
“Lt. Fisher resigned from the department before any action was taken against him. Beyond that, we don’t speak on personnel matters.”
