A Hanceville man died Monday, three days after he was critically injured in a single-vehicle crash in Cullman County.

Alabama State Troopers identified the victim as Victor L. Boatright. He was 70.

The wreck happened at 5:06 a.m. Friday on U.S. 31 near Cullman County 486. That location is about one mile south of Cullman.

Senior Trooper Brandon Bailey said Boatright was driving a Jeep Liberty that left the road, hit a culvert and overturned.

Boatright was airlifted to the UAB Hospital in Birmingham where he died earlier today.
