James is closing in Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time scoring record of 38,387. At the age of 38, James needs 89 points to claim the record.

Los Angeles visits Indiana after the Lakers’ 129-123 overtime win over the New York Knicks. Thursday’s game will be the second meeting of the season between the two teams. The Pacers won the last matchup 116-115. Indiana is 16-10 at home, and Los Angeles is 11-16 on the road.
