Madison County bouncer indicted in death of man thrown out of nightclub
A Madison County grand jury has indicted a man in connection with the 2021 death of a man who was forcibly ejected from a Harvest nightclub.
Charlie Dupree Harris, 32, was indicted Jan. 13 on a charge of manslaughter in connection with the May 2021 death of Cornelius Anderson, according to court records.
WHNT is reporting the indictment stems from an incident that happened at Boomers 50/50 on Old Railroad Bed Road in Harvest.
Anderson was in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend. Harris, employed as a bouncer, slammed Anderson on the ground and dragged him from the building, according to investigators.
He later died of head trauma at Huntsville Hospital.
An arraignment is set for March 2.
