Student charged after bringing gun to school in Tuscaloosa, police say
A 15-year-old high school student is facing charges after they were allegedly found with a gun Tuesday at Bryant High School in Tuscaloosa, authorities said.
The school resource officer at Bryant was alerted by a faculty member around 2:25 p.m. Tuesday that a student had been found with a weapon, Tuscaloosa police said.
The student was taken into custody and charged with certain persons forbidden from possessing a firearm, police said.
No one was injured or threatened in the incident, police said.
