Pedestrian killed in Mobile County hit-and-run wreck, authorities say
A pedestrian was killed Sunday night in a hit-and-run accident in Mobile County, authorities said Tuesday.
Nathaniel K. Albritton, 44, of Theodore, was walking in the roadway of Theodore Dawes Road near Mobile around 7:09 p.m. Sunday wen he was struck by a vehicle that left the scene, said Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Senior Trooper Joshua Thompson.
Authorities do not know the make, model or driver of the vehicle that struck Albritton.
After the initial collision, Albritton was struck again by another vehicle.
Albritton was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash near I-10, about one mile west of Mobile.
Further information was unavailable as state troopers continued investigating the wreck.
