Where Alabama basketball ranks in AP top 25, coaches poll after win over Texas A&M

Alabama men’s basketball added another ranked win to its resume this past week, and in the aftermath, the Crimson Tide rose in the AP top 25.

The Crimson Tide (14-2, 3-0 SEC) rose to No. 4 in the AP top 25, one spot up from No. 5 a week ago.

Meanwhile, Alabama stayed at No. 5 in the coaches poll.

The Crimson Tide is fresh off wins over South Carolina and Texas A&M. Alabama beat the Gamecocks at home 88-68, and the Crimson Tide followed it up with a 94-88 victory over then-No. 10 Texas A&M 94-88 on the road. The Aggies fell to No. 11 in the latest AP top 25.

This week, Alabama will face No. 21 Ole Miss on Tuesday (6 p.m., ESPNU) at Coleman Coliseum and then travel to Lexington, Kentucky to play No. 8 Kentucky on Saturday (11 a.m. CT, ESPN). Those rankings are based on the AP top 25.
