1 in custody as search underway for Hamilton woman missing since Friday
A search is underway for a 39-year-old woman who has been missing from Hamilton since last week.
Chastity Ann Terry may be living with a condition that could impair her judgment, according to an Alabama Law Enforcement Agency missing alert issued Monday.
Hamilton police said they have impounded a vehicle believed to be connected to Terry’s disappearance, and said they have the operator of the vehicle in custody.
Terry was last scene about 1:30 a.m. Friday in the area of exit 22 on Interstate 22 in Guin.
Police said she may be in the areas of Hamilton, Jasper, Bear Creek or along the I-22 corridor.
She is 5-feet, 6-inchest all and weighs 160 pounds. She has blonde hair and hazel eyes.
