Wind advisory issued for Mobile and Baldwin counties for Friday

On Thursday at 1:42 p.m. a wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid for Friday between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. for Mobile and Baldwin counties.

The weather service adds, “Southeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph expected.”

“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” adds the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
