Hollywood star headed for divorce after 16 years

Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren have split, according to TMZ.

The site reports the two are nearing a divorce after 16 years of marriage.

TMZ, citing sources, reports the couple recently separated, and “they’re moving forward with divorce.” It’s unclear what brought them to the decision.

Alba, 43, and Warren, 45, met on the set of Fantastic Four in 2004. The actress played Sue Storm, while Warren worked as a director’s assistant.

They married in May 2008 and have three children: daughters Honor, 16, and Haven, 13, and son Hayes, 7.

The actress shared a post on Instagram filled with photos of the couple throughout their 16 years of marriage to celebrate their anniversary in May.

“I’m proud of us for making it this far. There is no real set of rules or guidance that can ever prepare you for what it means to commit to another person and choose to be family,” she wrote.

“Through thick and thin we have continually found our way back to each other and have chosen one another.”

In an interview with Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt on the “BDA Baby” podcast in April, Alba said she and Warren became “roommates” months before the split.

“It’s all rosy for 2.5 years, but then after that, you become roommates,” Alba said.

“And it’s just, like, you’re roommates. You’re just going through the motions. It’s the responsibility. It’s a lot of, like, checking the boxes.”
