Trader Joe’s announces new locations for 2025, including Alabama store
Trader Joe’s, the niche grocery store with a cult following, is opening at least a dozen new locations in the coming year.
The company’s website lists 12 locations as “coming soon.” The new stores are in seven states and Washington, D.C., and include a grocery store in Hoover. The location will be the third in Alabama, joining sites at the Summit in Birmingham and in Huntsville.
The website does not provide a timeline for when the new locations will open.
Trader Joe’s opened 34 locations in 2024.
It’s not clear if other locations could be added to 2025′s plans but Trader Joe’s website said stores will be opening at:
