Country music star Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie XO, revealed during her “Dumb Blonde” podcast Thursday she is ready to be a mom.

However, in doing so, Bunnie XO, whose full name is Alyssa DeFord, opened up about her medical history.

“I have been pregnant three times in my life,” she said, per PEOPLE. “When I was 16, I got pregnant the first time I had sex, and I ended that with an abortion because I was scared. I didn’t know what to do. I was a runaway. And that after that, three years after I had an ectopic pregnancy, I had two ectopic pregnancies.”

Bunnie XO is the stepmother to Jelly Roll’s two children — Bailee Ann, 15, and Noah Buddy, 7. Because of that, she explained, she is ready to be a mom.

“I’ve helped raise Bailee since she was 7, and I think that also showed me that, hey, I’m not gonna (expletive) up a kid’s life too badly,” she said. “But I feel like I’ve mastered … not mastered, but I feel like I can do this. You know? And I just want a little piece of J and I together.”

In July, Bunnie said she and her husband were thinking about having a baby together.
