Derrick Henry rushing yards Under 89.5

Best odds: -110 at DraftKings Sportsbook

Browns at Ravens, Saturday, 4:30 p.m. ET (ABC/ESPN)

This bet is not for the faint of heart. Everybody knows Henry can rip off a 75-yard touchdown run better than any other player in the league. Regardless, there are some factors that make this wager a good look.

Everything is set up for the Ravens to roll on Saturday. They will be motivated to win because they can clinch the AFC North title. Conversely, the Browns have nothing to play for and will start second-year quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson again. DTR has been miserable, so the Browns might be dead from the start.

That’s why the Ravens are favored by as many as 18 points. Baltimore should dominate the game so much that Henry will probably not be needed much in the second half — if at all. Plus, the Browns’ rushing defense has been solid most of the season, even in the last month when their season has been over.

Cleveland has allowed an average of 3.39 yards per rush and 78.8 rushing yards per game to running backs in the past four games. Don’t be surprised if Henry doesn’t get as many opportunities. He could gain 87 yards on 12 carries and you’d still win this bet. That’s a great outcome for him and the sports bettor who jumps on this.

Josh Jacobs Over 79.5 rushing + receiving yards

Best odds: -117 at Caesars Sportsbook

Bears at Packers, Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (FOX)

With 1,625 yards from scrimmage and 15 touchdowns, it has been an awesome season for Packers running back Josh Jacobs. There’s no reason for him to take on a lesser role in the regular season finale.

Green Bay can move up in playoff seeding with a win over the Bears and a loss by the Commanders, so the Packers will be all in trying to win this game. As always, Jacobs will be a focal point for the offense.

The tricky thing about this prop is determining whether Jacobs will be part of the passing game. In the last seven games, he has had four receptions four times and zero receptions three times. In games when he had four receptions he averaged 53 receiving yards per game. One of those games was against the Bears, and Jacobs had five receptions for 58 yards (to go with 18 carries for 76 yards).

The Bears have lost 10 in a row and appear to be playing out the string. They have given up quite a bit of production to running backs lately, too. They are fourth worst in the league in allowing 172 receiving yards to running backs over the last four games.

This is a great spot for Jacobs to have a strong game running and receiving.

Jahmyr Gibbs rushing yards Over 87.5

Best odds: -114 at FanDuel Sportsbook

Vikings at Lions, Sunday, 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC)

Everybody knew Jahmyr Gibbs would receive a bigger workload when fellow running back David Montgomery suffered an injury. Gibbs has not disappointed.

In two games as the feature back, Gibbs has 41 carries for 226 yards and two rushing touchdowns plus eight receptions for 91 yards. That’s 158.5 yards from scrimmage per game.

In Sunday’s regular-season finale that will decide the NFC’s No. 1 seed, Gibbs meets a Minnesota rushing defense that hasn’t been as great as usual. Overall this season, the Vikings rank fourth in the league with 1,168 rushing yards allowed to running backs with an average of 3.97 yards per carry.

The Vikings are in the middle of the pack in the past four weeks. They are allowing an average of 4.35 yards per carry.

Gibbs had at least 88 rushing yards in three games with Montgomery, including the first meeting against Minnesota. Gibbs had 15 carries for 116 yards and two touchdowns in that game Look for him to surpass 87.5 rushing yards again on Sunday night.
