Four Birmingham area volleyball teams won to at least the final four while one fell in the championship in AHSAA state championship tournament play this season.

Class 6A Pelham lost to Spanish Fort in the Class 6A title match while Chelsea advanced to the semifinal round before falling to Spanish Fort.
