Winter weather advisory issued (again) for Alabama
Two north Alabama counties are under a winter weather advisory for the second night in a row.
The National Weather Service in Huntsville said light freezing rain will be possible overnight in Lauderdale and Limestone counties.
The winter weather advisory will be in effect until 9 a.m. Thursday.
The weather service said a light glaze of ice will be possible in the advisory area, which could cause slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges.
Forecasters said it could also affect the Thursday morning commute.
Low temperatures overnight will be close to or below freezing in northwest Alabama. No other winter weather advisories are in effect for the state.
