Construction did not slow down in the Huntsville area during the holidays.

Since Dec. 16, nine projects each exceeded more than $1 million in Madison, Limestone and Morgan counties, according to Southern Exposure Information. Overall, 195 permits were issued, totaling $63.8 million.
