A suspect in the slaying of a 21-year-old man at a Mobile apartment complex nearly seven years ago has been arrested in California, police said Wednesday.

Christopher R. Hodoh, 39, was arrested Jan. 30 in Beaumont, California in the killing of 21-year-old Darius Mose, said Cpl. Katrina Frazier with Mobile police.

Mose was killed March 23, 2016 at the Warren Inn Apartments at 6501 Airport Blvd., said Frazier.

The investigation led to an indictment against Hodoh, who is set to be extradited from California to Alabama to face murder charges.

“The Mobile Police Department remains committed to seeking justice for the victims and their families affected by violence,” Frazier said.
