A motorcyclist died after he collided with a vehicle on Mobile’s Dog River Bridge on Christmas night, authorities said.

Michael S. Porter, 37, was riding a motorcycle on the bridge’s southbound lane around 8:10 p.m. Wednesday when he entered the northbound line and collided with a vehicle driven by 51-year-old Angela Waltman, said Mobile police spokesman Blake Brown.

Waltman remained on the scene and was arrested on DUI charges, police said.
