Walmart may be a popular hub for holiday shopping but you will need to wrap-up for gift buying earlier in the day on Christmas Eve.

Walmart stores will close at 6 p.m. local time on Christmas Eve, earlier than the regular 11 p.m. closing time.

There are other deadlines to keep in mind:

Order by 4 p.m. local time on Dec. 24 for Express Delivery. Express Delivery provides orders to customers doorsteps in as little as 30 minutes. Walmart+ members are also eligible for one free Express Delivery through Dec. 31.

Order by noon local time on Dec. 24 for in-store same-day pickup and delivery. Customers who choose this option can pick the time that works best for them. Same-day delivery ais also available with orders placed by noon  for same-day pick-up and delivery by 4 p.m.

All Walmart stores are closed on Christmas Day (Dec. 25).

Walmart will re-open on Thursday, Dec. 26 for regular hours 6 a.m. – 11 p.m. Sensory-friendly hours with calmer shopping environment, lower noise levels and dimmer lights are available everyday from 8 a.m.-10 a.m.
