Baldwin County receiver Ti Mims commits to South Alabama

Baldwin County High School wide receiver Ti Mims has committed to South Alabama for the 2025 class, he announced Thursday.

The 5-foot-11, 170-pound Mims had recruiting interest from numerous SEC schools including Ole Miss, Florida, Arkansas and Tennessee. Rated a 3-star prospect by 247 Sports, he played in the AHSAA North-South All-Star Game in Mobile last weekend.

Mims’ older brother, Tiaquelin (who also goes by Ti), currently plays at Southern Miss. He was a 3-star recruit in the 2022 class.

Mims is the second South Alabama commit for the late signing period, which begins Feb. 4. Mississippi high school tight end Maddox Lynch committed to the Jaguars on Monday.

South Alabama signed 12 players in the early signing period, which ran from Dec. 4-6.
