Mural relocation, asbestos removal adds $1.3 million to demolition of Mobile Civic Center
Two murals that have long been displayed inside the Mobile Civic Center will be removed from their concrete backings, but it won’t be cheap.
The Mobile City Council approved Tuesday a $1.3 million increase on its contract with Sabre Demolition, the firm hired earlier this year to handle the demolition of the Mobile Civic Center, theater and Expo Hall.
