Where did Auburn men’s basketball rank in Week 6 AP Poll?
Despite suffering its first loss of the season last week, Auburn men’s basketball is ranked second in the Week 6 AP Top 25, the same spot it was in last week.
The ranking comes after Auburn played two games in the previous week: an 84-78 loss to Duke and a 98-54 win over Richmond. With Duke ranked No. 4 this week, the road loss didn’t hurt the Tigers much.
The poll saw a new No. 1 for the first time this week as Tennessee took the top spot. Kansas, the former No. 1, dropped nine places after losses to Creighton and Missouri.
Five teams from the Southeastern Conference landed in the top 10 this week, more than any other conference.
Auburn will have a six-day break from games before a matchup with Ohio State on Saturday. The game will be part of the Holiday Hoopsgiving event in Atlanta and is scheduled to tip off at noon.
