Auburn football Caleb Burton III announced his plans to enter the transfer portal with two years of eligibility remaining according to On3sports.

Burton played in just three games this season missing majority of the last month sitting in concussion protocol according to Auburn coach Hugh Freeze.

Last season he finished with 16 catches for 229 yards transferring in from Ohio State. Burton was ranked as the No. 71 overall recruit in the 2022 class.

Burton is ninth Tiger to enter the portal since its opening and the second wide receiver joining Camden Brown.
