Here are the Week 8 candidates:

Paul Andrzejewski, St. John Paul II: Completed 17 of 24 passes for 282 yards and three touchdowns in a 27-20 win over New Hope.

Jayden Brown, Decatur: Caught eight passes for 173 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-28 loss to Muscle Shoals.

Mason Cartee, Priceville: Ran for 203 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries in a 41-14 win over North Jackson.

Skyler Cody, Fort Payne: Caught four passes for 139 yards and three touchdowns in a 46-14 win over Hazel Green.

Aiden Cox, Arab: Completed 14 of 18 passes for 273 yards and four touchdowns a 56-17 win over Boaz.

Carson Creehan, Madison Academy: Completed 10 of 11 passes for 255 yards and three touchdowns in a 49-7 win over Vinemont.

Ray Hardy, Bob Jones: Ran for 157 yards and five touchdowns on 22 carries and completed 18 of 21 passes for 235 yards and a TD in a 48-40 win over Sparkman.

Andrew Hunter, Randolph: Threw four touchdown passes in a 55-0 win over DAR.

Alex Mason, East Limestone: Returned kickoffs of 83 and 80 yards for touchdowns and ran for 62 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries in a 54-13 win over Lawrence County.

Legion McCrary, Pisgah: Ran for 171 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries in a 41-14 win over North Sand Mountain.

Brady Moore, Clements: Ran for 165 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries, threw a TD pass, caught a touchdown pass and recorded eight tackles, including two for a loss, in a 46-18 win over Elkmont.

Brandon Musch, Westminster Christian: Completed 33 of 53 passes for 406 yards and five touchdowns and ran for four TDs in a 70-42 win over Madison County.

Terrence Robinson, Buckhorn: Ran for 163 yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries in a 38-20 win over Lee-Huntsville.

Kade Taylor, Danville: Ran for 145 yards and three touchdowns on seven carries in a 49-6 win over Asbury.

Isaiah Warnick, Falkville: Caught seven passes for 112 yards and three touchdowns, picked off three passes, recovered a fumble and made five tackles in a 28-6 win over Red Bay.

De’Air Young, Austin: Recorded five touchdowns — four rushing and one passing — in a 41-33 win over James Clemens.
