Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa defeated Hazel Green 39-31 on Saturday, handing the seven-time defending Class 6A state champions their second loss in five games. Both of Hazel Green’s losses have come at home, 46-42 to Park Crossing in the season-opener and the Patriots’ win on Saturday.

Coach Tim Miller’s Trojans have not lost two games in November since the 2013-14 season.
