Auburn gains commitment from top 50 forward Sebastian Williams-Adams

After adding a pair of exciting signees to its 2025 class on signing day, Auburn men’s basketball made another big move in recruiting Sunday afternoon.

Four-star power forward Sebastian Williams-Adams was the latest blue-chip recruit to commit to Auburn, choosing the Tigers over Purdue, Oklahoma State and Vanderbilt. He becomes the third player in Auburn’s 2025 class, joining signees Simon Walker and Kaden Magwood.

Williams-Adams is the highest ranked of the three players currently in Auburn’s 2025 class, as the No. 40 overall player in the country, according to 247Sports.

At 6-foot-8, 230 pounds, Williams-Adams’ size makes him a versatile defender that can guard both in the paint and on the perimeter.

Adam Finkelstein, 247Sports’ Director of Scouting, writes, “Williams-Adams is evolving into a highly versatile four-man who specializes in getting downhill as a face-up driver and then guarding multiple positions on the defensive end of the floor. The missing link right now is a reliable jumper to space the floor consistently.”

Williams-Adamas averaged 21.1 points and 10 rebounds per game at St. John’s High School in Houston, Texas, during his junior season, according to MaxPreps.
