ESPN’s ‘College GameDay’ announces Week 13 destination
ESPN’s “College GameDay” announced Saturday it is headed to Columbus, Ohio, ahead of Ohio State’s game with Indiana.
Host Rece Davis will be joined at the desk by analysts Lee Corso, Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee and Nick Saban. College football insider Pete Thamel, college football betting analyst ‘Stanford Steve’ Coughlin and reporters Jen Lada and Jess Sims round out the “GameDay” cast.
Will Howard passed for two touchdowns, Quinshon Judkins had two 1-yard TD runs and No. 2 Ohio State pounded Northwestern 31-7 at Wrigley Field.
The Buckeyes shook off a slow start on the way to their fourth consecutive win since a 32-31 loss at Oregon on Oct. 12. Howard was 15 for 24 for 247 yards. Both of his touchdown passes went to Carnell Tate, who grew up in Chicago and finished with four catches for 52 yards.
Indiana, which had a bye week Saturday, has agreed to a contract extension with Curt Cignetti amid the Hoosiers’ unprecedented 10-0 start, the school announced Saturday.
Cignetti’s new eight-year contract runs through the 2032 season and will pay him an average of $8 million per year with an annual $1 million retention bonus, putting the total value of the new contract at $72 million.
