Auburn football live updates from Jordan-Hare Stadium against Lousiana-Monroe

After dropping to Vanderbilt before their final bye week, Auburn football returns to Jordan-Hare Stadium for Saturday‘s game against Lousiana-Monroe.

The game is set to kick off at 11:45 a.m. and will be streaming on SEC Network.

Auburn will make a switch at kicker benching true freshman Towns McGough. Walk-on Ian Vachon will get the start coming in from Birmingham Southern.

McGough was 5-of-12 on FG opportunities this season.

Major recruit in the Plains

After a visit to Ole Miss last weekend, Auburn 2025 four-star QB commit Deuce Knight was spotted in Auburn ahead of the ULM game.

It was reported Friday that Auburn quarterback Payton Thorne would get the start Saturday after dealing with a shoulder injury suffered during the Vanderbilt game.

Thorne was on the field doing his normal pregame throwing routines with the all the other quarterbacks.

Kicker Alex McPherson was not dressed out has he will miss his second straight game. Caleb Burton III was not dressed out at practice Tuesday as his availability is still uncertain.

Jamonta Waller, Tyler Scott, Champ Anthony, Brandon Frazier are all out for the game.
