St. Michael’s Noah Moss and Gunner Rivers led a high-powered offense that almost refused to punt and the fifth-ranked Cardinals secured a 38-21 victory over No. 2 Pleasant Grove in Friday’s Class 4A second-round showdown at Spartan Stadium.

St. Michael (11-1) secured the second win in only its third playoff game and second playoff appearance in school history.
